虽然基于真实爱情故事改编，但很显然改成了美国主流剧本结构，内容做的不错，或许是真实填充了细节，使其在平庸的剧本结构之下，丰满了电影整体。说实话，我对这部电影更多的是好奇，一个外国人如何在美国文化语境下探讨本国婚俗传统与自由恋爱，但很显然整个表达是一场美国文化的趋同，也即是我通常看到的亚裔电影创作过程中，很美国化的一种习惯与表达的创作，这类作品其实除了设定有他国人物特色，整个故事结构是很美国的。这电影还算不错，轻松，简单，也没特别复杂的东西，它的戏剧性也很“美国”，但相比于我更希望看到了文化层面的真实冲突，
